Du'a - The Path Out of Sadness - Duaa

Every Muslim desperately needs a special nourishment of unique nature and flavor, through which his soul experiences a sweetness he cannot find anywhere else. It is spiritual solitude for the confidential expression of requests and concerns, as well as fervent supplication, at times when his heart, by night or day, becomes pure for Allah. In these moments of inner reflection, his longings and desires rise to Allah through words of remembrance and praise of Him, the Exalted, by means of what He—exalted is He—has taught us of His most beautiful names and sublime attributes. Thus, he calls upon Allah as the prophets, the truthful, and the sincere friends of God have called upon Him.
