Had he not been prompted to undertake this research, others would have taken it up sooner or later. If Pasteur had not discovered microbes, someone else would have proven their existence. Facts always prevail, even against the resistance of those who are embarrassed, annoyed, or shocked by such evidence. Since this study sheds new light on the Quran, it is not surprising that there is interest in examining certain aspects of the Holy Scriptures using scientific methods. The scientific conclusions are consistent with the exegetical presentations.
