The Sins Considered Minor
This book was written to promote the spread of Islamic knowledge and to eliminate ignorance among Muslims. It aims to guide people regarding life's problems and needs by providing educational, scientific, factual, and social advice. It also aims to refute the specious arguments of those who sow doubt about Islam.
I hope that the reader of this book will develop a better understanding of the limits set by Allah, the Exalted, and thereby gain a deeper, more profound insight into the contemporary world around them. And that, after completing this book, the reader will be able to enlighten themselves and their fellow human beings in the best possible way.
Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
"The believer sees his sins as if he were sitting beneath a mountain, fearing that it would collapse on him." The wicked sees his sins like a fly buzzing near his nose, and he acts like this."
Abu Shihab said: "He wipes his nose with his hand like this." (Bukhari)
